Responsibilities

• Lead the frontend technical strategy while contributing to the backend roadmap, ensuring alignment between both areas.
• Drive execution on multiple projects, navigating through uncertainties and fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
• Collaborate closely with the product to deliver rapid prototypes and innovative user experiences.
• Define and uphold technical standards related to system design, scalability, and code quality, while coaching junior team members through feedback and code reviews.
• Monitor systems to identify and resolve complex problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features.

Skills

• 6+ years of experience developing software, with extensive knowledge of our tech stack (React and TypeScript, Python, Postgres and AWS services)
• Experience in fast-paced environments such as start-ups or creative agencies
• Strong visual and UX awareness, with close attention to detail
• Ability to design and create new systems from scratch
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Experience with Agile methodologies (eg, Scrum, Kanban)

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with Vue.js
• Experience with the Chalice Python package
• Direct experience building applications using LLMs
• Experience with infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
